Range is given by, $R_e=u^2\frac{sin2\theta }{g_e}$On moon,

Given, $g_m=\frac{g_e}{6}$

$\therefore R_m=u^2\frac{sin2\theta }{g_m}$

We have, $\frac{R_e}{R_m}=\frac{u^2\frac{sin2\theta }{g_e}}{u^2\frac{sin2\theta }{g_m}}=\frac{g_m}{g_e}=\frac{1}{6}$

or, $R_m=6R_e$ is our required answer.

The correct answer is therefore option (C).
