The correct option is C
₹ 270

Area of the public park,
$A_{1} = 20 \times 10 = 200 m^{2}$

Area of the garden plot,
$A_{2} = 8 \times 8 = 64 m^{2}$
$∴ Total area of the garden plot = 2 \times 64 = 128 m^{2}$

Remaining area of the public park
= $A_{1} - 2 \times A_{2}$
= $200 - 128 = 72 m^{2}$

Total cost of laying pavements
= Rate x Area remaining in the park
= 72 x 3.75 = Rs. 270
