The correct option is C ₹ 270 Area of the public park, A1=20×10=200m2
Given, side of garden = 8 m ∵ area of a square = side × side ∴ Area of the garden plot, A2=8×8 =64m2 ∴ Area of two garden plots = 2×64 = 128m2
Remaining area of the public park =A1−(2×A2) = 200−128 = 72m2
Total cost of laying pavements = Area to be paved × cost per sq. metre = 72×3.75 = ₹270
