The correct option is B ₹ 2000
The ratio of A's capital to B's capital = 5000:10000 = 1:2
∴ the profits are shared in the ratio 1:2
∴ let A's profit be x and B's profit be 2x,
Total profit = 6000
⇒ x + 2x = 6000
⇒ x = 2000
∴ A's profit = x = ₹ 2000
The ratio of A's capital to B's capital = 5000:10000 = 1:2
∴ the profits are shared in the ratio 1:2
∴ let A's profit be x and B's profit be 2x,
Total profit = 6000
⇒ x + 2x = 6000
⇒ x = 2000
∴ A's profit = x = ₹ 2000
