Distance $= 600 k m$
Time $= 3 h o u r s$
$∵ S p e e d = \frac{D i s t a n c e}{T i m e}$
$S p e e d = \frac{600}{3}$
$S p e e d = 200 \frac{k m}{h r}$ .....[1 mark]
Now, the time taken to cover 1500 km $= \frac{D i s t a n c e}{S p e e d}$
$= \frac{1500}{200}$
$T i m e = 7.5 h r$ ....[1 Mark]
