A rectangle and a square have the same area. The length and breadth of the rectangle are $32$ cm and $8$ cm, respectively. Find the side of the square. Also find the difference of the perimeters of the rectangle and the square.

Let side of square be $5cm$

Area of rectangle =$32\times 8$

Area of square=$s^2$

$s^2=32\times 8$

$s^2=2^8$

$s=2^4$

=$16cm$

Difference of the perimeters $=2(32+8)-4\times 16$

$=80-64$

$=16cm$
