$\because$ Area of rectangle = length x breadth

$\therefore$ Area of rectangular region = 30 x 25

Given, side of square cut out = 5 cm

$\therefore$ Area of square = 5 x 5
= 25 $c{m}^2$

Area of the remaining portion = area of rectangle - area of square.
=750 - 25
= 725 $c{m}^2$
