Given :A rectangular loop of size (3 cm x 5 cm) having 100 turns carries a current of 2A placed in a uniform magnetic field of 5 T. The angle between a plane of a coil and magnetic field is 370.

Solution :

Formula for the torque on the loop due to magnetic field is BINA sinθ
where B=magnetic field, N= number of turns, I= current, A area of loop

Substituting the values in formula we get
Torque=5×2×1003100×5100sin37
Solving this we get Torque=1.2 Nm

The Correct Opt : B
370
