The length and the breadth of rectangular tank is 5 m and 3 m
Only that has to be taken into consideration since the height will vary.
First convert cm into m
45 cm=0.45 m
30 cm=0.30 m
The dimensions of the lead block is 1m×0.45m×0.30m
Volume of cuboid=length×breadth×height
0.45×0.30×1=5×3×a
0.135=15a
a=0.009m=9mm
