Depth $= 40 c m = 0.4 m$
Capacity $=$ Volume of water tank $= l e n g t h \times w i d t h \times d e p t h$
Length $= \frac{capacity}{width \times depth} = \frac{0.576}{0.9 \times 0.4} = 1.6 m$
