A right circular cylinder has a height of 1 m and a radius of 35 cm. Find its volume, area of curved surface and total area.

h = 1 m, r = 35 cm = 0.35 m
Volume = πr2h=227×0.35×0.35×1 m3=0.385 m2
Area of curved surface = 2πrh=2×227×0.35×1m2=2.2 m2
Total surface area = 2πr(h+r)=2×227×0.35(1+0.35)m2
=2×22×0.35×1.357m2=2.97 m2
