When 0.4 g of NaOH is added to 100 mL,
Molarity of NaOH=0.440×1000100
= 0.1 M
Thus, normality of NaOH = 0.1 N (n-factor = 1)
Milliequivalents of NaOH=0.1×100=10
Milliequivalents of H2SO4=0.1×100=10
10 milliequivalents of acid will be neutralized by 10 milliequivalents of base.
Therefore, the solution will be neutral.
