Area of sheet $= l \times b$
$= 50 \times 30 = 1500$ sq.cm
A strip $6$ cm wide is cut from all around.So
Length of remaining sheet $= 50 - 6 - 6 = 38$ cm
Breadth of remaining sheet $= 30 - 6 - 6 = 18$ cm
Area of remaining sheet $= 38 \times 18 = 684$ sq.cm
Area of strip cut out $= 1500 - 684 = 816$ sq.cm
