Marked price of the article = ₹ 2500 ; Successive discount d1 = 20% and Successive discount d2 = 10 %

Effective price shopkeeper pays for the article

= M.P. ×100d1100×100d2100
= 2500 ×10010100×10020100
= 2500 ×90100×80100
= ₹ 1800

Amount spent on repairs = ₹ 60
New price = 1800 + 60 = ₹ 1860
Profit = 1860×20100=372
Selling price = 1860+ 372
= ₹ 2232
