Let the selling price and cost price of article be S,P

Gain % $=\frac{S-P}{P}\times 100$ $\Rightarrow 7=\frac{3852-P\times 100}{P}$

$\Rightarrow 7P=385200-100P$ $\Rightarrow P=\frac{385200}{107}$

Now , S' = Rs 4050

$\Rightarrow$ Gain% $=\frac{4050-P}{P}\times 100=100(\frac{4050}{385200}\times 107-1)$

$=100\times 0.125$ = 12.5% $\Rightarrow$ (C)
