CP $= 300$ Rs. CP $= 300$ Rs.
profit $= 10 %$ loss $% = 5 %$
profit $% = \frac{p r o f i t}{C P} \times 100$ loss $% = \frac{l o s s}{C P} \times 100$
profit $= \frac{10 \times 300}{100}$ loss $= \frac{5 \times 300}{100}$
$= 30$ Rs. loss $= 15$ Rs.
Over all $= 30 - 15 = 15$ Rs. profit
CP $= 300 + 300 = 600$ Rs.
profit $% = \frac{p r o f i t}{C P} \times 100$
$= \frac{15}{600} \times 100 = 2.5 %$ .
