Let the edge of the cubical box be 'a' m.
Rs. 500 is the cost of 1 $m^3$ wood
Rs. 256.is the cost of $\left(\frac{256}{500}\right)m^{3}wood=0.512m^3$
So, Volume of total wood = $0.512m^3$
Volume of cube = $a^3$
$a\times a\times a=0.512m^{3}a\times a\times a=0.8\times 0.8\times 0.8$
The length of each side = 0.8m = 80cm
