A sound signal of 128 vibrations per seconds has a wavelength of 2.7m . Calculate the speed with which the wave travels.

Given :-

Frequency = 128

wavelength = 2.7 m

To find : speed of sound

SOLUTION : -

By using the formula ,

speed of sound = frequency * wavelength

Now , putting the values ,

= speed of sound = 128 ×2.7

= 345.6 m/s

therefore the speed of sound is 345.6 m/s
