We know that,
the surface area of sphere
=4πr2

Given that,
initial radius of sphere =7 cm
final radius of sphere =14 cm

Now,
change in surface area of sphere
= final surface area of sphere - initial surface area of sphere
= 4π×142 - 4π×72
=4π×(14272)
=4π×(147)
= 588π cm2
