Area of the remaining part of the park $=$ area of square $-$ area of the path

$=$ area of inner square with length $30 - 2 = 28 m$ , breadth $= 30 - 2 = 28 m$

$= 784 m^{2}$

Now the total cost of covering the remaining area $= R s .1160$

Therefore cost per $m^{2} = \frac{1160}{784} = R s .1 .48$ (approx)
