The correct option is B 154
When the square of side 44 cm is folded to make a cylinder, then the circumference of the base of the cylinder will be 44 cm.
2×π× radius =44
radius of the cylinder =44×72×22=7 cm
So, area of the base of the cylinder =π×(radius)2=227×7×7=154 sq.cm.
