If electron are moving with drift velocity Vd, A is area of cross-section and n is the number of free electrons per unit volume.

Then we know that,

I=neAVd

And given that
s=em (m=mass of electron)

e=ms

I=n(ms)AVd

I/s=nmAVd .......(1)

Now, no. of free electrons per unit length =nA

So, momentum p of nA electrons is

p=nAmVd

From eq. (1),

p=nAmVd=I/s

Hence, option (b) is correct.
