For a straight wire,
Magnetic moment =M=m×l (1)
Where m= pole strength and
r= length of the wire = l
For new shape,θ angle
r=lθ
New magnetic moment, M=m×r (a)
m=Ml=mrθ from (1) and
r=2(Rθ)=2×rsinθ2
M=m×r
=Mrθ×(2×rsinθ2)
=2(Mθ)sin(θ2)
