A string passing over pulley contains 10kg and 6kg masses connected at its ends. The 6kg mass hangs vertically while 10kg block on the table. If the system is in dynamic equilibrium find the coefficient of dynamic friction.

For block of mass 6kg
6g=T
T=60 Newtons

For block of mass 10 kg
Tfs=0
T=fs
fs=60 Newtons

fs=Nμ
N=10g=100 Newtons
So, (100)μ=60
μ=0.6
