The correct option is A 13

Marks obtained for each correct answer = 3
Marks to be deducted for each wrong answer = 1
Number of questions answered correctly = 5
Number of questions answered wrong = 2

Marks obtained for the correct answers = 5 × 3
Marks deducted for the wrong answers =2 × 1
Marks scored = (marks for correct answers - marks for wrong answers)
= (5 × 3) - (2 × 1)
= 15 - 2
= 13
Therefore, the marks scored by the student is 13.
