The correct option is D 13
Marks obtained for each correct answer = 3
Marks to be deducted for each wrong answer = 1
Number of questions answered correctly = 5
Number of questions answered wrong = 2

So, marks obtained for the correct answers = 5 x 3
marks deducted for the wrong answers = 2 x 1
Marks scored = (marks obtained for the correct answers) - (marks deducted for the wrong answers)
= (5 x 3) - (2 x 1)
= 15 - 2
= 13

Therefore, marks scored by the student is 13.
