Time taken(t)=Time taken to reach max height(t1) + Time taken to attain the velocity in downward motion(t2)
t1=u/g=8.1/9.8=0.83s
t2=v/g=3.23/9.8=0.33s
Now, t=t1+t2=0.83+0.33=1.16s
