The correct option is B 16 : 15

let the sum lent at 5% be rs.x and that lent at 8% be rs.(1550-x). then,

(x×5×3)100+(1550x)×8×3100=300

15x24x+(1550×24)=30000

9x=3000037200

9x=7200

x=800

Hence the sum lent at 5%=800

and the sum lent at 8%=1550-800=750

Required ratio=16:15
