The correct option is D 16 :15

Let the sum at 5% be Rs. $x$. Then,
$\frac{x\times 5\times 3}{100}+\frac{(15500-x)\times 8\times 3}{100}=3000$
or $x=8000$

$\text{Required ratio}=\frac{\text{Money at 5\%}}{\text{Money at 8\%}}=\frac{8000}{(15500-8000)}$$=\frac{8000}{7500}=\frac{16}{15}$
