True

length of pool = 40m

width = 15 m

Area of cross section = 40 x 15 = 600 $m^{2}$

Height = $\frac{1.5 + 3}{2} = \frac{4.5}{2} m$

Volume = area of cross section x height

= 600 x $\frac{4.5}{2}$

= 1350 $m^{3}$

= 1350 x 1000 = 13,50,000 litres ( $1 m^{3} = 1000 l i t r e s$ )
