The correct option is D 1 A

Electrical energy of the battery will be converted into kinetic energy of train.

Kinetic energy of the train = 12mv2 = 12×1×82 = 32 J

This energy should be equal to the energy produced by battery which is W = QV

QV = 32 J

Q = 32V = 328 = 4 C

Now current, I = Qt = 44 = 1 A
