A train travelling at 60 km per hour leaves station A at 3.00 p.m and another train leaves the same station in the same direction at 5.00 p.m at the speed of 75 km per hour. How many kilometers from station A will the two train be together ?

The correct option is C 600 km
Distance traveled by first train that leaves station A at 3:00p.m till 5:00p.m
= Speed × Time =60×2=120 km.

Now, at 5p.m second train starts from A, so relative speed of two trains
=7560=15 km per hour.

Time required to cover 120 Km distance with the relative speed of 15 km per hour
=12015=8 hour.

So, the required distance at which two trains will meet from station A
= Speed × Time =75×8=600 km.
