Let Distance between $AB=3kms$

Speed of train X $=2kmph$

Speed of train Y $=3kmph$

Time taken by trains to meet $=\frac{3}{(2+3)}=0.6hrs$

i.e 36 minutes after 3 hours

therefore these two trains cross each other at $\text{3:36 p.m}$
