So, area of square
A=a2=100 cm2=102 m2

Magnitude of electric field, E=100 N/C


As positive normal to the square is along the positive x axis.

Thus, its angle with electric field,
θ=0

Now, electric flux ϕ is given by
ϕ=EA=EAcosθ

ϕ=100×102×cos0=1 N-m2/C
