The correct option is C $\text{Rs.}8$

C.P. of bananas $=\text{Rs.}250$, Gain required$=20\%$
$\therefore$ S.P. of bananas = $\frac{250\times 120}{100}=\text{Rs.}300$
Number of good bananas $=(40\times 12-30)=450$

$\therefore$ S.P. of $450$ bananas$=\text{Rs.}300$
$\Rightarrow$ S.P. of $12$ bananas = $\text{Rs.}\frac{300}{450}\times 12=\text{Rs.}8$
$\therefore$ The remaining bananas should be sold at $\text{Rs.}8$ per dozen to make a profit of $20\%$
