A vertical pole of 6m casts shadow of 4m long on the ground.At the same time a tower casts a shadow 28m long. Find the height of the tower(in meters).

The shadow of the pole, 4 meter shadow, corresponds to the 28 meter shadow of the tower.
Let h be the tower's height;
Then, TowerheightPoleheight=TowershadowPoleshadow
h6=284
h=7×6
h=42 m
Height of tower is 42 m
