Initial pressure of CO2=0.5 atm
Initial pressure of CO=0 atm
Final pressure of CO2=(0.5x) atm
Final pressure of CO=2x atm
Total pressure at equilibrium = Partial pressures of CO2 and CO
Total pressure at equilibrium=(0.5x)+2x=0.8 atm (given)
x=0.3
Kp=P2COPCO2=(0.6)20.2=1.8 atm
