Solution

Volume of the tank=60×30×8 { Volume of Cuboid =l×b×h}

=14400m3
=14400×103 litres {1m3=103litres}

Population of the village =6000

Water used daily per person=50 litres

Total water used per day by the entire populaton of the village =6000×50

=300000

Now to find out number of days the water will last we need to calculate

Numberofdays=VolumeofthetankTotalUsageoftheVillagersperday

=14400000300000

=48

Water in the tank is sufficient for 48 days.
