A weightlifter lifted a load of 200 kgf to a height of 2.5m in 5s .Calculate :

1-the work done

2-the power developed by him

m= 200 kg
s=2.5 cm
t=5 sec g=10n/kg
W= Fxs = ma x s (F=ma)
= (200 x 10) x 2.5 = 2000 x 2.5 = 2500 x 2 = 5000 J
power = W/t = 5000/ 5 = 1000 kWh

the work done by him is 5000 J and the power generated is 1000 kWh
