a) The factors which effect the rate of a chemical reaction are temperature, pressure, concentration, and catalysts. They can either slow down the rate or speed it up.
b) The rate constant formula for zero order reaction:
A products.
At time t=0,
[A]=a M
At time t,
[A]=(ax) M
x is the change in the concentration.
dxdt=k[A]0=k
dx=kdt
On integration we get, x=kt+I
I is integration constant
At t=0,x=0 and hence, I=0
x=kt
k=xt

c) The diagram showing effect of catalyst on activation energy is as shown. Catalyst provides alternate pathway of lower activation energy.
