(a) Leftover food at home along with other kitchen wastes is dumped into compost pit to convert it into manure. This manure can be used instead of fertilizers for growing plants.
(b) We will select banana leaf platter because leaves decompose easily to form manure through composting. Plastic plates will take years to decompose and may sometimes not decompose. Plastic plates can be recycled but during recycling, harmful gases are released which can harm and pollute the environment.
