Solution

(a) Noise pollution. The mixer and grinder in a kitchen create very loud noise while operating that can be a source of noise pollution for the people living in and around that house. This sound may be even greater due to the vibration of the appliance against the hard surface of kitchen countertop or if too close to the wall behind.

(b) Pin and pencils have pointy ends which may damage the eardrum and can result in hearing problems.
