Solution

The correct option is A Rs 3.3
C.P. of each watch =Rs 30 , number of watches =120
total C.P. =30×120=Rs 3600
Wholesaler sold 50% (60 watches) at Rs 20
S.P. of these 60 watches (S.P1)=60×20=Rs 1200=
(13)rd of 120 watches are sold at Rs 40
S.P2=40×40=Rs 1600
rest (1206040=20) watches are sold at Rs 60
S.P3=20×60=Rs 1200
Total S.P. =1200+1600+1200=Rs 4000
profit = S.P. C.P. =40003600=Rs 400
Average profit per watch =400120=Rs 3.3
