Solution

Role of bacteria in digestion:

  1. The good bacteria in our gut releases enzymes that they synthesis and helps in breaking the complex substances into simpler forms assisting our digestive system in the process.
  2. The bacteria also utilize that food for their own energy needs and thrive in our gut.
  3. If we stuff or overload ourselves with high-calorie or unhealthy food, the gut bacteria population might die.
  4. Too much unhealthy food cannot be broken down by bacteria at once, they will reach their saturation point.
  5. The bacteria thrives within the gut based on our diet, if we begin to consume high calories in unhealthy food they will also be consuming the same and eventually die try to break or digest them.
