A woman bought $50$ dozen eggs at $Rs16$ a dozen. Out of these, $20$ eggs were found to be broken. She sold the remaining egg at $Rs1.50$ per egg. Find her gain or loss per cent.

Cost of one egg = $\frac{16}{12}=\frac{4}{3}=1.33$

Total cost = $50\times 16=800$

Remaining eggs = $(50\times 12)-20$

$=600-20$

$=580$

Total sellings = $580\times \frac{3}{2}=290\times 3$

$=870$

$\Rightarrow$ profit = $\frac{870-800}{800}\times 100$

$=\frac{70}{800}\times 100=8.75\%$
