Height of yacht = 3 m
Height below water = 1/6 of total height
= 1/6 × 3
= 0.5 m
Height of yacht above water = Total height - Height below water.
= 3 - 0.5
= 2.5 m
Therefore height that can be seen above water is 2.5 m
