Assume that the rotis are perfectly circular with radius 4 cm and this time your cousin wanted to eat as many rotis as you did, What would be the new size of the rotis that your mom will have to make?

The correct option is C

One roti's area = π(4)2=16π cm2

Cousin's capacity is 1 roti = area of 1 roti = 16π cm2

So area of one roti has to be divided in 4 small rotis i.e. (16π/4)=4π cm2

So the new radius, r is

πr2=4π

r=2 cm
