In a pentagon ABCDE, AB is parallel to ED and B=142,C=3x and D=2x
So, A+E=180o (Sum of interior angles on the same side of transversal are supplementary.)
Sum of all interior angles of pentagon = 180o(n2)=180o(52)=540o
Now,
A+E+B+C+D=540o
180o+142o+3x+2x=540o
5x=218o
x=(4335)o
