$$\begin{gathered} \left(7x^4-2x^3+x+10\right)+\left(3x^4+15x^3+9x^2-8x+2\right) \\ =7x^4+3x^4-2x^3+15x^3+9x^2+x-8x+10+2 \\ =10x^4+13x^3+9x^2-7x+12 \end{gathered}$$
(ii)
$$\begin{gathered} \left(3p^{3}q+2p^{2}q+7\right)+\left(2p^{2}q+4pq-2p^{3}q\right) \\ =3p^{3}q-2p^{3}q+2p^{2}q+2p^{2}q+4pq+7 \\ =p^{3}q+4p^{2}q+4pq+7 \end{gathered}$$
