(i)
$Given x^{2} - 9 x + \sqrt{3} + (- 19 x + \sqrt{3} + 7 x^{2})$
$= x^{2} - 9 x + \sqrt{3} - 19 x + \sqrt{3} + 7 x^{2}$
$= x^{2} + 7 x^{2} - 9 x - 19 x + \sqrt{3} + \sqrt{3}$
$= 8 x^{2} - 28 x + 2 \sqrt{3}$

(ii)
$Given (2 a b^{2} + 3 a^{2} b - 4 a b) + (3 a b - 8 a b^{2} + 2 a^{2} b)$
$= 2 a b^{2} + 3 a^{2} b - 4 a b + 3 a b - 8 a b^{2} + 2 a^{2} b$
$= 2 a b^{2} - 8 a b^{2} + 3 a^{2} b + 2 a^{2} b - 4 a b + 3 a b$
$= - 6 a b^{2} + 5 a^{2} b - a b$
